Entrevernes
Population 204
This village is nestled in a small valley between the Entrevernes and Taillefer mountains. In 1760 it became independent and survived on agriculture, the wood industry and the mining of brown coal which was discovered in 1794. The local people are proud of their history and you can still see the former water powered saw mill and barns with their alder facades.
